Love and Power; a personal journey workshop, facilitated by me, will take place Saturday, April 6.  Held at the Cedar Valley Unitarian Universalist, 3912 Cedar Heights Dr., Cedar Falls, from 10 a.m. until noon

We are all unique, needing different challenges to grow. In this workshop, together we will develop intent, working with the power of the sacred wheel, learning how energy flows and how this energy within us and around us can affect our relationships, our creativity, and our health.

Shamanic Breathwork Process Workshop

Deblyn Russell and Stephanie Schwinn will be facilitating 2 days of Shamanic Breath Work Process, on Saturday, September 22 and October 20, at the Unitarian Universalist Society, 3912 Cedar Heights Dr., in Cedar Falls, from 9:30 p.m. til 5:30 p.m.

Shamanic Breathwork is a powerful approach to self-exploration and healing. The process itself uses simple means.... it combines ritual, and meditation, with deep, cyclical breathing, chakra tuned music, art integration, scribing and group processing. In this process, each person uses their own breath and the music to enter a non-ordinary state of consciousness, that is organic, drug and alcohol free. This state activates the natural inner healing process of  the individual's psyche, bringing him or her, a unique set of internal experiences, images, colors, symbols, guides, etc., with the individuals inner healing intelligence guiding the process.

Cost per event, is $100 per person, sign up with a friend and get $25 off each registration or sign up for both workshops and get the $75 special on each workshop! Free introduction to Shamanic Breath Work Process, on Friday Sept. 21 and Oct. 19,

 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Society. A short breath work is included in this talk.

Sacred Ceremony and Ritual and the ARTz

There are many ways to bring the Divine closer to ourselves. One way is through ritual or the enactment of sacred ceremony. My spirituality is Universal - it encompasses a variety of religious and spiritual pursuits, with shamanic practice/earth based religion being my priamary spiritual path.
Ceremony, whether or not it's shamanic is typically magical, creative healing and provides a bridge between the material and spirit worlds. It is a "felt" demonstration of how the power of the universe works, and it provides an excellent way to honor all those events in our lives we want to sanctify. Participating in sacred ceremony helps us bring our being into alignment with the natural flow and rhythm of life.
Ceremonies that convey the substance of spirit into our minds and hearts can and should be part of everyones daily menu, no matter what religious creed you follow, or spiritual beliefs you hold.
I am available to help create and officiate at your sacred ceremony, from weddings, to healing ceremonies, to baby dedications, rites of passge, lunar cycles and seasonal ceremonies and funerals/celebrations of life.

Seeds of Growth

The Seeds of Growth tour is wrapping up for the year 2011. There will be another workshop on Saturday, October 22, at the Women's Spirituality Conference in Mankato, MN. My co-facilitators this time will be a couple of the Chicka Wow Wowz..... Heidi Corn Woman Scott, and Cowgirl Pearl, and myself. This time the Seeds of Growth will take us through a journey of the Maiden, Mother, Enchantress and Crone....yes, the cycles of life!
I am available to present any of the workshops, to your circle of women, or co-gender group!

I'm hosting 2 Creative Healing Artz Workshops this Spring.

The first is Springing into Balance. A true celebration of rebirthing your life.

The second is Seeds of Growth, co-facilitated with my good siStar ,Launie Sorem, from Boone, IA. This will get your transformative soul-full self, reveed up!
This too, will be held at the UUSBHC, on Sunday April 10, from 2-4 p.m.
Cost is $18. Join us as we transform through the cycles of life!

labrynth walk

Have you visited and walked the labrynth at Greenhill and Hwy 58 recently. It's really beautiful and what a great way to take a meditation walk! I have a wonderful 7 circuit labrynth in my field....but it's full of super high ragweed....I need to get the weed-wacker out there and show those weeds what I know, so I can walk my own labrynth!
